Ridgeline monsoon classic has a reputation for being boil-in-a-bag standard of unbreathable. Fine as long as you don't involve any form of exertion.

A firm I work for has brought them for all the guys hard landscaping they are all raving about how good they are as a subbie I don’t get one but they boys are always working hard in them and all have said there good

+1 for Rivers West smock, I've had one for about 5 years now still going strong, also seems quite breathable so don't tend to get hot and sweaty.

Very Marmite choice but I like them. Waterproof as long as you clean them regularly and re-proof every so often

Swedteam titan from swillington shooting..... great smock ..... love mine even though it's a tad too big!!!

Any ther vote for Swedteam Titan gortex they are well made and fully waterproof

Ridgeline Monsoon Classic Smock | ArdMoor

I’ve got one, it’s my go-to smock for freezing cold days and it’s brilliant, I know Ridgeline can be ‘sweaty’, but I have not found this with the monsoon.
IMO the best smock there is is the Swazi Tahr, which is excellent but expensive, I guess everything’s relative.

Ive been using a country innovations smock for years, good size front pocket and keeps me dry, its my go to stalking jacket come autumn time or when rainy. Great material ventile imo, does get a wee bit stiff when really wet but nothing too bad.

william Powell and Ardmoor have them for £290 dependent on size I’d imagine

So looking at the ArdMoor link for Ridgeline Monsoon Classic Smock , then looking on Ridgeline site they are showing two different smocks of same name? On Ridgeline site it has one chest pocket then two hand warmer pockets below waist unlike one on ArdMoor site. So ArdMoor is a older version?

Yeah they've brought out another new version of it recently. Same material, just slightly different design from what I can gather.
