Flytie, the one I got from Ebay, see link in first post is HUGE. I got the one meant for a person 1.9m tall, and it would easily fit someone 2.3m and someone with shirt size xxl+. Trousers, same thing, would easily go to XXXL. dunno why they thought people 1.9m are equally wide? hmmm

I have an old jogging top that my missus stitched together from a white parachute. It was extra large when she made it and it fits over my hunting gear, it's also transparent enough so it lets some of the underlaying colour through.

I've been using disposable painters suits from H.I.S. or ebay for years but you do need to dull them down, work best if you throw them in a dirty puddle and jump on them first, or take a can of spray paint to them.

Jahti Jakt do an excellent waterproof snow camo suit you get a hat gloves and fleece free. It's excellent value and quality gear with a whole range of sizes.

As Nell says, when working in trees white trousers normal green camoflage top. in low scrub the other way round. white jacket and cam trousers.
The whole military suit is only good for the open hill in full snow conditions, however scrunch it up into a ball/roll shape and lightly spray it with green/brown paint and a very effective tiger stripe effect can be added to the overall white. This technique is used by snipers to modify any cam to match the theatre of operations.

Have to say I got the kids to draw brown sticks on a tyvec suit, worked a treat camo wise and kept the wee ones happy as hell drawing on dads stuff! Nice change from the carpet being coloured in!

Old 1950's or so SWEDISH snow suits are great - you can pick them up for not a lot of $£$£ on various sites. Paid about £10 or so for my jacket/smock. When I see them on sale in Sweden at the arms fairs they are even cheaper!!

They are also a great base layer for custom suits, ghillie suits, etc.

Hi all, you can get nylon white oversuits (the disposable sort) from Arco for £3.00 each . You can even colour brown patches on if you wish. When your finished the outing just bin them.
