A German client asked me to build a Knife specifically for his Wild Boar hunting . Basically a last line of defence if it all went Pete Tong and he found himself on the ground with an enraged Boar
Materials and spec used
5.5 mm thick SF100 Tempered to 58 Rc ( for durability ) A good 4 points lower than my norm but this adds greater toughness !
6" blade length 1"3/8 width (1/4 ish thick)
Stainless guard slotted / Pommel threaded
Handle is stacked Tufnell
The whole thing will disassemble for cleaning
Via un-screwing the threaded pommel
False edge on the spine
Centre point for penetrating
Sabre grind for the cutting edge
