Sometimes life doesn't seem fair!

Its with a very heavy heart that I have to tell you that we lost China tonight, after a very short battle with Lymphoma, she had a wonderful day out yesterday on our cock day, ut sadly this morning developed temperature of 41which the vets battled to ring down all day, she was on a drip and had a fan on her a well as damp towels to try and keep her comfortable, the temperature won the fight and with the vets guidance we had to make the hard decision to let her go before she started to suffer even more, she has given us so much pleasure in 20 short months!
Thank you all for your kind comments and text
RIP China

The picture was commissioned for me as a Christmas present from the Mrs and we received it last week, China and mum and china sat next to it last week.

So sorry :-( so painful. They bring so much joy and unconditional love in the short time they are with us. The only way I can move on is by keeping more dogs to help get remember the great times from the ones we lose.

So sorry to read that China has gone.

She always looked an absolute poppet in the photos and videos, and I loved following her progress in training and then her first retrieves.

Although cut tragically short, you gave her a wonderful life.

That marvellous drawing is a lovely tribute to remember her by ❤️.

It is always unspeakably sad when we say goodbye to a dog.

That she was so young, will have only made it all the more heart-breaking.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your friend.

The portrait commissioned by your wife is beautiful - although a little difficult to focus on right now, as my eyes seem to have 'watered up'...

They are always too young and the pain is never any easier.
But we’ll always love the joy of being able to spend time in their company

Still missing my lovely China but time moves on and I need a working pup to bring on,
My wife and I hadn’t planned on having a pup so soon but one of my beaters had a litter and the rest as they say is history,
Chillie is the latest addition to our pack and she has started her puppy training,
She has big paws to fill that’s for sure.
Tony

Is that u started the placeboard training already??
Is it going to be purely a bird dog or do u train spaniels for the deer tracking too?

I take it u quite like placeboard training?
Always thought about it but never started doing it

Really sorry to read this thread Tony. I lost my Vizsla in October so know all to recently how you feel. Good to see Chilli on the place mat. I’m going through the same pain with a GWP at the moment. Must pop over and see you with him at some point.

Yes
This one is purely for the day job
Yes nothing to serious just yet, just five minutes a day on the boards.
It’s only the second dog I have used them with
Found them very good way of training
