Spud reloading.

I just bought a die from him. Mailed to confirm that it was in stock and 10 days later pick it up from post office in Norway. Happy with service especially since pretty much everywhere else the item was on backorder or ? they would get them in.

I am still waiting for stuff that I ordered last July.
CDSG are just as bad.
Frustrating, but I've spent the last few weeks trying to get hold of various bits and pieces, and the story is the same everywhere you go..... especially for imported items.... Redding, Atlas in particular. To give Mark his due he is very quick to pick up the phone and answer messages, and I'd rather spend my money with someone you can communicate with. The backlogs aren't his fault! It's worth a good bit of googling, as there are some obscure little places that have got stock, and I've learnt from bitter experience that a phone call to ensure something is actually in stock before you order means you aren't left wondering where your order has got to.

Sorry to say I have had mixed results. I am still missing a back-ordered part which I paid for in 2017. I sent a couple of emails, made some calls but in the end gave up and ordered from elsewhere. It was only a shell holder on a much larger order (which was all received) so I put it down to experience in the end.

I've mixed experience they were helpful and got what was in stock sent to me pretty quick my only problem is twice I bought something that was supposed to be stock and in reality it wasn't. Ended up waiting weeks it would just be nice to know if something was on backorder or not.

In my experience Mark will alway help if possible, be realistic, all the UK suppliers are struggling with import lead times.
Regarding costs, he gives a fair price, remember some manufactures offer traders better deals than others.

I'm still waiting for some bullets I ordered 17/12/20 that were showing in stock.
Chased on the 6/1/21 when he said they would be another three or four weeks, they were showing as available at this time on the web site. He did offer a lower value alternative which I didn't want as I have a favourite load for this manufacturer, weight and bullet type.
Just checked they're now showing on back order.

Any widely available reloading gear (dies etc), I now order via ebay/Amazon. Delivery is always prompt due to feedback system and easily accessed resolution options. For bullets etc, I prefer to pay a bit more to a local RFD rather than use often unreliable online suppliers. I do find it interesting that many of these very same online suppliers have a presence on Ebay and Amazon, where they seem able to meet their stated delivery terms.

I put in an order yesterday and it arrived this morning. Fantastic service.
(Obviously not using Hermes lol)
Well done Mark

What is evident is there is a shortage of reloading stuff. I have resorted to picking up the phone and then e-mailing. I still find it difficult to understand how there is so much price differences for the same item. 223 vmax from £22 up to £32 , brass £32 to £48. all for the same thing.

Having read many forum members say delivery is slow the only way is to call.
