Evening all, iv just bought one of these as iv seen good reviews, it replaces my Bushnell prime L20, which had decent pictures but was poor at picking up motion, even when i walked in front of it, towards and away, most of the time picking me up only 4 yards away, anyway, this new one is better at motion but picture quality is very poor, to say it claims to have a 20MP camera, iv owned plenty of DSLR cameras to know its probably 2-3MP, and its a very narrow field of view, as in more of a zoomed in image against the bushnell, and the colour is poor too, and with the night vision if somethings not with in 3 yards then its not picking it up, now i know its only to capture wildlife and not family portraits, but id expect better, just wondered if i have a duff one in some way, or if iv got something wrong somewhere along the line, now when i was looking they seemed to be about the £120 mark, mins off ebay from bushwear and was £60,

The images it send to your phone are low res, unless you pay for HD subscription. If you download off the memory card they are much better but not as good as cheaper, non cellular cameras I’ve had. The selling point is the cellular bit though and sending images to your phone.

I’m pretty sure you can adjust settings on PIR sensitivity and IR range in the phone app (which then communicates with camera).
