Spypoint micro link help

Evening all, new to trail cams and have set it up. I have formatted the SD card, i had it syncing to my phone when i was in the area where it is. But now i am getting nothing. I have the basic 100 images just now and have 4 so its not that. Temp was reading at 9c and is now 0c.

Any help?

The last communication was when i went back to format the card. Its looking at a pond and Theres ducks using it.

it may be set to only send images twice a day, you can set it to send every time it's triggered and you can change the sensitivity of it as well if it's not going off as often as you think it should.

The thing that makes me think its offline is the temp being at 0. Its about 8 outside.

Sorry to hear your issues, unfortunately I was running 3 SPYPOINT cameras and had issues with all of them. They are absolutely awful and I have moved to the Zeiss SECAM which actually work perfectly. If it’s a new camera I would return it and buy yourself a Zeiss.

I've run various Spypoint cameras for years - a few issues here and there but generally they work well. I am using Zeiss now and agree they are better overall but I've still got some Spypoint ones out that work just fine.

Only thing you can do is go back and check. Looks like it was online at lunchtime yesterday but unless you walk across it and actually trigger it then you'll not know what's going on. I always try them at home, make sure they connect and then send me an image before I put them out.

It may be as simple as turning it on and off again or reformat card on the device (can't recall if you can do that in that model) but I've had issues with SD cards before - yours looks to be a very small card (8GB?). Don't they recommend 32GB or something? Cards are cheap so I'd buy a 32GB off Amazon and try again.

They recommend upto 32gb class 10. Will order one and see. I did make sure it pinged me before i left the area. I had it set up to sync at 0630 which it has done. I may move it closer to the pond incase its not picking the movement up.

I've been running 2 Spypoint LTE-Micro Solar cameras now for 3 years without issue. Both are now running on premium club subscriptions due to the volume of activity and squirrel/pheasant triggers using up the lower plans. Picture quality could be better but they tell me the detail I need. I've been sceptical about the recorded temperature too though as on both of miner, its always lower than ambient! As I'm unlimited, I set mine to send confirmation photos every routine sync just ion case nothing has triggered them as a confidence piece.
