Stainless steel media

As title
Where is the best place to source media from for tumbler. Asking as I’m new to the brass cleaning world using electronic technology.
Thanks in advance
Davey

If it is not available to buy s.s. medium intended for cleaning brass, Stainless Steel TIG Wire intended for tig welding can be used instead, just cut into small pieces.

I brought jewlery cleaning media from ebay. Think they were £20/kg ??
1mm x 8mm stainless pins. Used in a rotary wet tumbler.

Though my tumbler is a bit too big and enough pins to make it work was.... expensive!

Whatever you buy make sure it is smaller than the smallest case mouth you intend to clean or a couple of mm larger, otherwise they tend to jam across the case mouth and are a PITA to get out

If you use it dry, you will get a dust build up problem. All dirt removed from the brass has to go somewhere.
Even if it cleans the brass, how then do you get rid of the dirt.. When water is used the dirt is carried away each time.
Air borne dust will not be good for your lungs.
