Dave - do you prefer the black hot or the white hot.

That image makes that fox look very leggy.......

I generally use the white hot to spot and then change to the black to give better contrast/definition.

....It was definitely a fox, I can show you the picture I took after it was shot lol!

Wasn't doubting you my friend, just making an observation. It's interesting how the heat signature can change the form. I've noticed that my GSD and some sheep in the local field give out very little heat signature around the core of their bodies - It tool me a little while to work out that's where they have the most insulation, for that very reason.

I'll check out the black hot - thanks for the tip.
 
....a few more for you to see, I tried to get a variety of animals for comparison.








....I think the fox was on X2 magnification hence why it is a bit more pixelated. It is the same fox as the other video.
