As a member since 2013 and occasional poster I've got to say that this is the most enjoyable site to read and contribute to, compared to other sites, be they be about stalking, field sports in general or indeed unrelated sites that pertain to other interests. It's number one in my hit parade. This is patently down to you, Malcolm and your two colleagues. You have created an atmosphere where folk can read and learn (or inform) from others whilst successfully deterring the usual people who, on so many sites cause unnecessary disruption. No small feat and I hope that gives you a sense of great satisfaction.

I do hope that the SD continues and prospers along the same lines and that you at least remain a member. But most of all, I hope all goes well for you and Sandra. And remember, to successfully help and look after a loved one, you firstly have to look after yourself well.

As a fellow traveller I can only echo Pedros' sentiments above and wish your journey all success Malcolm and Sandra , it is a very trying time for everyone but I would hope for the best of outcomes for you all. Stay strong.

I wish you and your wife the very best in such testing circumstances. The SD has given me a great deal of pleasure reading others posts and contributing occasionally. Thanks to all who run it and I hope you find a buyer to continue the good work. Family first, always.
 
Best of luck on both fronts - the SD has been a staple for many including myself for many years….but when it comes to a loved one it’s no contest.

Family trumps all, shooting comes and goes.

SD is the best source of stalking related “stuff” the uk has to offer.

That’s my effort at a well done and a thanks for making the SD and maintaining it for a long time.

I hope whoever takes SD on keeps it as is and doesn’t monetise it ridiculously.

I'm sorry to hear both pieces of bad news Malc. Sadness indeed to hear that Sandra is facing the terrible illness that is cancer. It seems to affect so many people these days (myself included), nobody should have to face this horrible disease! My sympathy to anyone going through it.
Regarding the sale of The Stalking Directory, I have been a member here since 2008 and a "supporter" for several years.
Thank you to all 3 owners for everything you've given to the Stalking community over many years, you've been a great team:thumb::tiphat:

In the meantime, we carry on as normal, nothing will change, and I would personally like to thank all of you for your support of the site over the years. You can of course contact me via PM. Please excuse me if I don't answer straight away.

Thanks for making this the best site ever.iv got too know some amazing people on this site and loved every minute of it.good luck too all three of you and hope things go well for all of you

Sorry to hear your sad news Malcolm, we find ourselves in a similar situation so take care of yourselves and thank you for the work you have done and your support for sporting.
 
Sorry to hear this. Hopefully everything works out for you and your partner Malcolm. This site has helped a lot of people get involved and develop their deer stalking skills, including myself. Good luck for the future.
 
Malcolm I am sorry for the news about Sandra I can't thank the both of you enough for the times both of you have looked after me.
I understand the need to sell the website as family must come first a big thank you to you and the rest of the team.
