Stalking trousers “technical”

Hi folks
I was looking at stalking trousers ,I have normally had Harkila and swedteam in the past but would like to try something like the renfort 900 with a bar of wax to get some kind of water proofness added to it…

Any offerings I may have missed in regards to a non crisp packet , overheating , over expensive brand name trouser…

Fjallraven vidda pro, lightweight and you can wax them. When wet I put on stoney creek over trousers, my harkila pro hunters are good but very heavy..

Anything waterproof I just find way too hot tbh. shame really.

Harehill trousers seem to get good reviews at 85 quid
Add a bar of wax for some waterproofing

I was recommended these for all night winter shoots but Decathlon's own shop and their eBay shop only have all the X+ sizes, not any good if you are a petit 34" waist like me with an appetite of a dove

Ended up with Seeland Helt II Trousers but wondering if they might be a bit thick and warm for when they are needed.
