Riflecraft isn’t too far from me at all. I actually had my eye on a second hand Dakota arms rifle of theirs that someone was selling recently.

In either case, no need to provide link etc. Just the name 'riflecraft' is enough. Any shooter worth his salt is aware of the name and has respect for the same. In fact it is an honour to be on the same forum as Riflecraft

Just trying to be helpful. I simply know that they're near Scole so checked and it's got their address in that link. If the OP is not from the area they may not have heard of them or at least may not know where they're based.

I’m a leftie so selling on a rifle would be a nightmare. I’m going for .308 so I can go heavy for the smaller species to slow it down a bit and have the knock down for the bigger ones.

Welcome. It sounds like a 243 with the right ammunition would be suitable for your needs, as I am in a similar boat to you.
