The integral piccatiny does look a bit inelegant but it’s very strong and one less thing to worry about. Once you mount a scope they rather disappear.

A set of South aesthetics and the scope will look to elegant the piccatiny section will disappear

I handled them at the stalking show, and was mighty impressed. I would have liked to get hands on with the FBT stocked option as that looks to me the nicest overall workhorse package out of the lot they offer.

The only thing I think Steel Action need to do to really make the product the best offering possible, is team up with @PSE Rifle Stocks and offer them in an E-TAC EVO with a heavy barrel, and an ELITE EVO with a stalking weight barrel. That would truly blow any of the other straight pulls out of the water IMO.
