I have scoured Google but can't find the answer, so hopefully someone here can help.
Does anyone know whether the barrel on a CL2 is screw fitted or press fitted into the action?

Not 100% sure but I think it is the same receiver/barrel set up as the SBS and they are screwed in.
I think Steyr moved away from the pressed in barrels of the SSG.

Thanks for that Blueroll. A mystery cleared up and it's nice to know that, when the time comes for a new barrel, it won't be too difficult. Cheers.

Don`t take my word as gospel, but don`t worry even if I am wrong it can still be threaded for a new barrel. Callum at PRS has done both of my SSG`s

You shot out SSG barrels? That's a lot of lead down range LoL.
