Strange looking cysts / tumours ?

Something that I have seen more of lately in roe deer are these strange looking cyst like tumours.

Does anybody have a definitive answer as to what they are please ?

Lymph nodes can often be enlarged but have also seen lymph nodes being normal, either way I’ve incinerated each one as I don’t believe it to be fit or safe for human consumption.

If I wouldn’t eat it I wouldn’t expect anybody else too.

They look rather like hydatid cysts to me.
My initial thought was that you were looking at haemal nodes, but blowing the picture up a bit caused me to have second thoughts.

Someone with more experience than me will know better.

In which case nothing to worry about. Perfectly normal.

Hemolymph nodes?

Hi all, Just a quick double check. I have gralloched a roe buck and come across what looked like pomegranate seeds in the connective tissue under the spine between the diaphram anus. They seemed unusually bright (fresh blood in them?) and numerous. Poor pictures attached. All other organs...

It was the spotting that puzzled me and made me think twice! Glad I'm not the only one!
