A few years ago I finally got fed up with my Binos sling getting tangled up with my rifle sling and then both getting tangled with my rucksack straps so I made some cloth loops to attach to the binos and the eyepiece cover and stitched some straps with plastic clasps to my Rucksack Straps. I made them just the right length at the right height so I could swing them up to my eyes comfortably. They don't bounce about like binos on elastic straps and when you hold them up to your eyes you are not constantly fighting the elastic tension. The straps on the binos also help to keep the rucksack straps pulled together and on the shoulders. Excuse the sewing I'm not the best with needlecraft!
Next stage I am working on is to eliminate the rifle sling and incorporate into the Rucksack Sling with a super quick release system stay tuned.
