Strelok pro with digital scopes?

Hi, I just got the Strelok app, I do have and use both glass and digital scopes, but currently, am using digital ( Hik Pro and Alpex 4K LRF) on both my rifles. I am not going to dialling in super long shots, but just wanted to enter my rifle and ammo information to get the drops, speeds etc ..... I may at some stage change the scope on one rifle to glass though. Can the app be used in this scenario, if so, any tips etc?

If the digital scope has LRF and a Ballistic Calculator then you don't need Strelok. Not sure about the scopes you mention but my DNT and Hikmicro also have an app that will show you a ballistic table chart, so again no need for Strelok.

Haven’t seen the ballistic table chart on the Alpex 4K - where/how do you get it please?

I haven't got an Alpex as I said above. If the scope has both LRF and a Ballistic calculator (my Hikmicro and DNT 4k) then you can find the chart in the downloadable to phone app.

Any chance you could take screen shots of the menu/screens you use to get to the chart please - for Hikmicro, & post them so I can see if I’m missing something in my app? Cheers.

I have used Strelok Pro for years.
Due to Russia invading Ukraine Strelok has been sanctioned. This means, no new scopes and reticles have been added. However, I find it is especially useful with FFP Scopes as the holdover are good across any scope using FFP.
If you enter accurate information it is faultless.
I am lucky enough to have a number of scopes with LRF and Ballistic capabilities.
I have two older Thermion thermal scopes which have FFP reticles and I use Strelok Pro with these. You will of course need a reliable LRF.
I have never been a dial in man, I have always used holdover.
I particularly like the windage application.
I would not be without it.

Thanks. Realize the scopes do the same job, I was thinking that the app also offers more detailed trajecrtory information etc, based on the barrel length, twist rate etc, which the scopes wont know.....I was just going to be using the app to get extra info when using digital and not in the field when stalking.

The dnt app has a configurable ballistic calculator and app. You don't need a dnt scope.

Are you using StrelokPro on iOS ? Since it’s sanctioned it doesn’t work if you update the phone!

I believe Strelok Pro can handle digital scopes I’ve use Strelok and have my Pulsar C-50 set up on it and it works fine, you just need to get all the data together for your load and scope and enter it into Strelok.

Not entirely true, I’ve updated iOS on my phone a number of times and Strelok Pro still works fine. No updates to Strelok are forthcoming at the moment but most glass scopes and many digital scopes are already in the library.
