Wtf is our world coming too when one reads of this sort of schitt below.

Matildas star Sam Kerr (Aus soccer) allegedly called a police officer a “stupid white bastard” in a dispute over a taxi fare last year, The Sun reports.
Kerr is set to face a trial in London after pleading not guilty to a charge arising from an alleged incident with a police officer in January last year.

The Sun also reports Kerr was sick in the cab after a night out before making the alleged comment towards the police officer over the taxi fare dispute.

The 30-year-old appeared at Kingston Crown Court via videolink this week after she was accused of using insulting, threatening or abusive words that caused alarm or distress to a police officer during an alleged incident in Twickenham.

Kerr has been charged with intentionally causing racially aggravated harassment, alarm or distress to the male PC under section 31(1)(b) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998. She has pleaded not guilty. If convicted, Kerr could face a maximum sentence of two years’ imprisonment.

The incident allegedly occurred on January 30, 2023, just hours after Kerr scored an incredible hat-trick to propel Chelsea to a 3-2 FA Cup victory over Liverpool.

Chelsea Football Club have not commented on the incident.

The trial is expected to get underway in February, 2025 and is due to last four days with two police officers to give evidence.

In this day and age anyone that would take offence at those words has a problem.

Notwithstanding that this particular case is sub judice.

In general terms.

If you can's see the problem with anyone speaking to anyone like that, then you are a...

What a shame Sam is a great football player and this could bring on the end of her career. Ive never abused a copper but felt like it many atime. Strikes me that she just met the wrong one. But lets face it us white folks are all supposed to be racist that's according to anyone that aint white. Personally I'm thick skinned and expect that my non white workmates, friends and foie are going to get it just the same as my white mates do

You first Timmy ha ha.
I posted some pics yesterday, as it happens. Maybe you didn't see them?

But I guessed you were having a bit of a slow day in the office today, reposting schitt (as you call it), and reckoned a bit of fresh air would do you good.
Even another story about some nasty venomous creature in your back yard would be preferable. Those ones are always good for laugh 👍

Maybe you didn't see them?

Is it time for this tale? Yes. Why not! So many years ago a now late friend of mine, Pete Raybould, had an exchange with his Inspector. Pete was one of those old type residential beat officers and he had had a disagreement with his Inspector.

His conversation was something of this order.

"If, Sir, I said to you that you were a c*** that'd be a disciplinary would it?"

"Yes, PC Raybould, it would."

"I see Sir. Can I also be disciplined for what I think?"

"Not for what you think, no. But for what you say, yes."

"Well in that case Sir I think you're a c***."

The Inspector, to give him his due, was also an experienced officer and having allowed Pete to vent his upset very astutely let it go at that.

This is more than the words used. She was drunk, had a taxi ride home, then didn’t want to pay the fare, spewed up in the cab, and to top it off, became abusive to the cop that attended!

She was charged with the most serious offence, and rightly so. Her behaviour was appalling and is down to her, not some “pansy Bobbie”… A self entitled, minor celebrity of clearly limited manners who’s about to get a serious lesson in personal responsibility.

Pretty much what I thought.

No, but the press in various forms from tabloids to broadsheets all report similarly on a court appearance that was open to the public. A report to the court would have been presented by the prosecution and defence would have given a broad outline of their position.

She’s pleaded “Not Guilty” and it’s further reported, in the more respected press, that an abuse of process is to be offered as opposed to actually disputing the facts! More than likely to see a reduction or downplaying of the allegations as they do seem rather damning for someone in the public sphere…

So no, I wasn’t there. But I have extensive experience of the process and to even have charges authorised by CPS is no small feat. And against a celebrity… that would be an even bigger hill to climb!

“The licker”? FFS…
