Styer SSG 69 P2

Long drag

Hi does anyone have the Styer SSG in 22.250, if so what the story with this Rifle, i would be using it for fox shooting only, I know its heavy but I can live with that.
Is it as accurate as I'm lead to believe, some reports of magazines cracking and other cracks on the frame.
I'm a fan of Styer rifles, but there is no substitute for personal experience.
Regards

If you mean the SSP69 I can only tell you that I never had one in 22-250 but do in 243 & 308 and can`t see me ever selling them as they are soooo good. Yes you may get problems with the mag well/trigger guard cracking but there are aluminium replacements available.

Hi I cant find any references to SSP 69 P2 🤔, I'm told it's a SSG 69 P2. Is there a difference, I just dont know.

Think @BLUEROLL means SSG 69 P2? The SSG 69 was only made as a .243/.308/ 22-250. Any other calibres will have been aftermarket rebarrels etc.
So I only have experience of the 308. The P1 is the original green stocked version with the butter knife bolt handle.
The P2 is the ‘police’ version with a black stock and no open sights. Tactical bolt handle and a slightly heavier barrel.
The PIV was a shortened barrel version- 16 inches I think, with a 1-10 twist designed to stabilise sub sonic rounds and be fitted with a moderator. The others are 1-12 twist I believe.
I’ve got the manual for all of them that I got from @Dr. Strangelove that I’m happy to send to you if you PM me your mobile number as I can’t figure out how to do it on here. Plenty of info in the manual 👍🏻
