I am told it was quite popularI remember the subaru pickup that was based on the GL series, we need more sensibly sized pickups
I saw today that the tax classifications for double cab pickups have been revised again.A VW Caddy, Skoda Fabia sized pick up would suit a lot of people that don't need the size or running costs of a Hilux , D-max or Ranger.
In a good or bad way?I saw today that the tax classifications for double cab pickups have been revised again.
If it's got anything to do with tax and this government it can on be bad.In a good or bad way?
Exactly my reasoningA VW Caddy, Skoda Fabia sized pick up would suit a lot of people that don't need the size or running costs of a Hilux , D-max or Ranger.
It's a jimney by a firm called kap. What about the Vitara conversion that’s done in the UK (it may be called land master or similar?)
Now they were the mutts nutsView attachment 392599 Shot my L1 targets off one of these.
The best lamping vehicle going. Very quiet and the cab roof was the perfect height to enable you to sit on a hay bale.I am told it was quite popular
I had a Forester and a Legacy and IMHO my Skoda Scout is way way better. No low range but diesel chugs along in first and the off road is better due to the clever stuffThe likes o f the original Nissan trail or Subaru legacy 4x4
With proper low ratio box
True fold flat back seats leaving huge boot etc
They all but gone
The xtrail and like you get now jist playing at it
Used to be a middle ground between a basic estate car and a full on pick up
Not much proper stuff left

I’ll bet if Subaru do release or re release the pick up car it’s going to be a lot of money or that close to a full fat pick up , it won’t be worth it.There's a Dacia Duster based pickup available in some markets (not here, of course) It would be plenty for a lot of folks needs without the size or running cost of the big pickups. Oh well
