Swarovski service

I hear nothing but good things about Swarovski servicing , just wondering what the rough time scale it takes to sevice a scope and what the prosses is and a price?
Many thanks

Mine was free of charge and took 3 to 4 weeks. I sent it to Swarovski in UK and got it back directly from Austria. All within last year.

Only hiccup was UPS trying to screw me for post Brexit ‘fees’ to the tune of £109, for the service of a SH scope. I didn’t accept delivery initially and called Swarovski who sorted it all out and the fees went away. I understand Swarovski were working to stop the fees business.

Your right HH ,, they have sorted it now , I sent my el 10x42 RF for a service , all back new laser range finder part an odd lens and rubber bits all FOC ,maybe 7 weeks turn round

I have had binos and scope serviced by Swaro. Both came back fixed, £162 bill for scope (old Z6i) but it was in a state: new electronics, new objective lens all purged and rebuilt. Binos were within their 10 year warrantee so just paid the shipping to the UK office. Procedure was phone their office, they told me to post it, it came back within a few weeks! Bloody fantastic!

I sent my binoculars and a scope today to UK HQ at Surrey.
Current timings expected to be 6-8 week turnaround, emailed them this morning and they were very quick and helpful with their replies

Such good service they said, mine was free they said……..first quote is £93 for my EL binoculars……was hoping for less but it works out at £6.20 for each year of ownership and they will be like new when I get them back.

Slightly nervous about what my old 8x50 scope which they also have is going to be quoted for a spruce up!!!!

I sent a ocular lens cap back once as it wouldn't "click" closed. I waited 6 weeks, for it to come back with a lubricated o-ring. I wasn't impressed in the slightest.

I had a similar experience where UPS were trying to charge import fees for my scope which is coming back separately to the binoculars it went in with. (Binoculars back with no import issues)

I provided Kate at Swarovski a screenshot of the shipment details and within an hour she had it sorted and sent me a further email to show the delivery driver if there were any other queries on import charges.

Swarovski really couldn’t have been more helpful and I would recommend that if you have any similar issues contact Swarovski in the first instance and let them deal with the parcel courier.

I have a 29 year old AT80 telescope, it’d had a hard life. It had fogged up a little inside. 5 weeks later, it came back as new.
It was still within the 30 year warranty, but I would think they’d have fixed even if it was out with the warranty.
I’ve also had great service from S&B. Zeiss on the other hand.....

Lost my Swarovski scope covers over the weekend while stalking, the elasticated bikini type. Filled in the online form asking about the cost of a replacement set and had an email within the hour to say a new set are in the post free of charge.

Doesn't really get much better than that.

3 weeks before Xmas I noticed a sort of frosted appearance to one of the internal lenses on my 3-12x50PV. It appears some moisture had crept in so I boxed it up and trotted off the Swarovski Optics UK’s offices (3 miles from home 👍🏻)

They duly accepted it and sent it to Austria for evaluation with the advice to call them in three weeks if I hadn’t heard back before. Well three weeks to the day I get an email from Austria saying they’d received it and we’re going to look at it. About 3 hours later I get another email saying they’d looked at it and we’re going to fix it FOC! Next day another email told me it was on its way back to the UK.

Now two weeks later I have just collected my scope and remounted it. Frankly it looks literally as good as new, if not better.

All the way through I was updated and treated like a valued customer so from now on it’ll be Swarovski as my first choice unless it’s a product they don’t make.

What a truly awesome company.

Conversely, I went stalking on the weekend, a quick look at the rifle after the stalk showed that I had lost my top of the range Swarovski scope but luckily had retained the bikini covers...... what was the details for Swarovski UK again please? 😀
