Does anyone know if you can get your scope recovered/painted through the services? I have a few small surface scratches and being a picky bi**h it is doing my nut in!
Paid 325 € for repair and service of my Habicht last year and they didn't touch a single scratch on the tube of the scope. Wonder how much it would have cost to have the tube replaced / refurbished...
Swarovski customer service is excellent. And all new optics get a 10 year warranty. I know, I have benefitted from two free-of-charge repairs in the last decade.
After 10 years, Swaro products migrate to the unsupported list shown below. Snapshot is page one of eight.
Having a 10 year cut-off makes sense. Product lines move on, no maker can hold repair stock forever for all models ever made.
That said, I would imagine that whilst they would not have parts for older stuff, generic coating refresh [for a fee] may well be possible.
