You can get the EKA version from Ronnie Sunshines for under £60.. apparently better steel

EKA is sandvik Outdoor edge is AUS8 (chinky version is 8cr13mov) a metallurgist would struggle to decide which one was best.

They are similar steels just made in different countries. All swingblades are made in china in the same factory under licence.

get a victorinox 6" semi flexible boner and have a sheath made by Dugan. perfect stalking knife!

as 308boy says aus-8( japanese steel outdoor edge) is close to 8cr13mov and between 440b and 440 c, more than capable of doing the job intended. the last three deer i cut up i used a a spyderco tenacious (8cr13mov) and still sharp enough for another. the offer from moonraker knives is post included and £9 cheaper than ronnies and you get a free boner...oooer misses.

I thought you had to wait til you were over 40 to be eligible for a semi-flexible boner!!! 40 over 40 an' all that.
