Hi i have a well used Swiss army knife that my wife bought me 27 years ago, just noticed that the scissors are broken. Does anyone know the procedure for getting them repaired. Thanks

Hey Scudd . Victorinox have a lifetime warranty , usually you send your item in and if its repairable they do it free of charge if it is not they send you a new knife . If it has sentimental value its better to mention it in the letter so they know to send you back your old one . I used it last time 4-5 years ago . i do not expect anything to have changed .

Scissors on victorinox rarely break usually its the spring that breaks . If it is the spring i have the original kit and tools to change it if you want ( for the majority of models ) . If i have the parts happy to sort it out for you and save you the hassle .

That's very decent of you to offer but I'll probably send it back to them, do you happen to have the address for them?
Thanks

They also have a number there maybe a phone call prior to shipping would be a good idea since it is a sentimental knife . Good luck .

Some Swiss Army knives are made by Wenger, which, similar to Victorinox, provide lifetime warranty. Check the make of the knife first to ensure it is sent to the right place.
