Hi i have a well used Swiss army knife that my wife bought me 27 years ago, just noticed that the scissors are broken. Does anyone know the procedure for getting them repaired. Thanks
Hey Scudd . Victorinox have a lifetime warranty , usually you send your item in and if its repairable they do it free of charge if it is not they send you a new knife . If it has sentimental value its better to mention it in the letter so they know to send you back your old one . I used it last time 4-5 years ago . i do not expect anything to have changed .
Scissors on victorinox rarely break usually its the spring that breaks . If it is the spring i have the original kit and tools to change it if you want ( for the majority of models ) . If i have the parts happy to sort it out for you and save you the hassle .
No worries hope you get sorted .
Just had a look online , because its been so long that i cannot recall where i did send it .
This is the updated form it appears from 2022 along with their shipping address .
Some Swiss Army knives are made by Wenger, which, similar to Victorinox, provide lifetime warranty. Check the make of the knife first to ensure it is sent to the right place.
