Available: Syndicate places

Given that this is an advert and, as I have said time and time again, not a debate I will remove all the nonsense at the request of farquarson, if he wants me to.

That said... what I do when I'm looking to join a syndicate is take on board feedback from past members etc, yes, but more importantly talk to the syndicate owner and go and visit the ground myself and make my own mind up. Things 3rd parties say should always be taken with a pinch of salt. You never know what grievances or agendas they might have and how out of date or inaccurate they might be.

You might even visit and think the cull seems optimistic, but armed with what you have seen with your own eyes you can still make an informed decision about whether it's worth the money to you. Someone else might look at the same ground and be confident of being more productive.

Trashing someone's advert based on tittle tattle seems well OTT to me. People need to take responsibility for actually going and checking the ground out and talking to current, reliable members.

Yeah I think you did. Must be about 8 or 9 years ago now, have you still got the ferrets? I had to let mine go, just don't seem to have the time anymore.

Alan, are we talking about the same place here ? I am honestly confused!
It is pointless for me to comment on your remarks as you clearly have more information than I do.
Good luck to you and I am sorry you feel the way you do about me !
Marc.

csl, thanks for the offer to remove all the nonsense but I have nothing to hide and believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, right or wrong
Marc.

I have seen this land recently (significant period of time checking it out), spoken with Marc and also had a chat with a member of the family that currently own the estate and all looks in order from my perspective.
One other point, as others have stated, every syndicate I have ever been in or currently active in requires a call ahead of time to a) book the day and/or b) inform the land owner that people will be on the ground. This is a working estate so only sensible that people are aware that stalking is going on in the vicinity. This is sensible firearms practice and I personally do not feel this is an untoward practice.

I realise why people refrain from posting syndicate ads on this site as much as previous years. As CSL has stated, its what its worth to you and whether you find it acceptable to proceed with joining. This goes for every single business transaction not just limited to the Deer Stalking world.

I hope the way this thread has turned out does not put people off from posting other stalking places, our sport is bashed hard enough from outsiders and hard enough to get into as is.

Great offer this. At least worth a meet up and walk of the land rather than looking at old records and reports from a possible disgruntled former member. Just wish offers like this would come up closer to Wales!!

All the best looking for members
Rob

Hello farquarson im interested in your syndicate please forward the details i live in morpeth so wouldnt be to far thanks steve

Finally got to meet up with Marc and have a look at the grounds. Marc came across as a genuine and pleasant chap who knows his stalking. He even booked my B&B which was very good value for money. We arrived there on Saturday afternoon and looked around the ground but did not see any deer - we were only looking for an hour in very windy conditions. On Sunday morning, another syndicate member, Owain (carlisleredneck) who was there to stalk for the day very kindly agreed to show me the ground and even allowed me to take a deer! We came across 7 deer within a couple of hours. I was more than happy to join the syndicate. Many thanks to both Marc and Owain for an enjoyable weekend.

Hi
I would like to know more about the syndicate places you are offering. I used to shoot in Newton Stuart and like the borders
