Teckel available

Hello, A friend of mine in Poland has one bitch Teckel available that will be ready to travel with all paper work on October 20th. These are serious working wire haired Dackels, bred from serious winning lines, eg they have every working cert going etc.
The cost in total including delivery will be about the same as an 8 week old puppy here in UK, but these are fully inoculated including Rabies, Chip and passport.
There are already teckles in the UK from this breeder and at least one person on this forum has one and another has ordered.
I am not making anything from this, its purely to try and help others.
If interested I can supply contact details by PM.

Keith looking at Facebook working teckles it's already been sold

Thanks pendle, I was curious to see the pedigree as it is always good to know what is coming into the UK to hopefully bolster the bloodlines/potential breeding options of the future. I had a nice chat with levigsp the other day regarding a number of fieldsports.

It still completely baffles me that sharing pedigree info is not seen as essential when promoting/selling a dog. I was equally baffled to read a post on the BMHS FB page that the owner of a 4 month BMH pup was surprised to discover that the new pup was related to their existing dog. Jesus Christ!! How the hell does anyone go through the whole process of buying a pup to then be 'surprised' by what the pedigree contains.

Keith I thought that myself when I saw the add . Checking a dogs pedigree is just like checking horse racing form it's still a gamble but we need the odds in are favour
Very few litters of all breeds avalible because of covid 19 . Pedigrees not being checked properly as we must have a pup. As you know lottery numbers being charged for puppies £1500 for a springerdor which last autumn would have been £450. £550.
A friend got quoted £3000 for a lab. I have seen Golden retriever . dappled teckles . At that price

Most are closely related with no health tests done .

Some of the people on our list have kept in contact asking "is the price still the same" expecting them to hike up like many others. Our price remains the same, we were even prepared to drop the price in case the **** had really hit the fan (work/income-wise) for the people we have selected as potentially offering the very best homes.

My son is after a cocker bitch. Insane money !!!
I asked the guy about the pup - but only dog left - but I also asked for info and pedigrees pics of parents and grand parents etc. Why would anyone not ?
One bit of advice I got many many years ago when I started breeding my own terriers. If you like a dog - use it’s sire 👍

Keith your breeding to improve the breed as a whole . With working .confirmation and coats being needed in the UK lines . That's how it should be . Being fair and up front with the purchaser like you are

To SD members
It's not that its expensive to import . It needs breeders from Europe to help us with what we plan . Trusted breeders we can call friends. Keith has that so do I and many of my friends .
There are a few breeders and transport firms in Europe and the UK that will take the **** .

But do your home work on what ever BREED you get from UK or Europe make sure all HEALTH TESTS have been done
Health problems cost money I know I have been there .the problem with my dog testing for that genetic problem was not needed at the time.
It is now and he is affected
I am not a breeder.

So To be fare I wasn't selling the dog, I was helping other by pointing out one was available and I said if people were interested I could supply contact details. I did just that and the people interested got the pedigree. I would not buy a dog without knowing and would not expect anyone else to either. And I certainly would not promote a breeder or dog that wasn't 100% right. As it happens the bitch was gone within hours.

Not a knock at you levigsp, there are direct sellers who seem very reluctant to give pedigree info, like it is some shrouded mystery.

Just added these two upcoming litters to the classifieds for those who are not familiar with European breeders. I can vouch for both kennels as have dogs from them, otherwise no connection.

Konigstannen

Bassotto Di Corleone

Just to add to the above, another nice litter recently born at kennel Reesenufer, Germany. The dam, 'Jeannie' is from a repeat mating and shares sire and dam of a stud that we have seen working and used. 'Jeannie' also has the same sire (Lord von Rominten) as two of our German bitches so we know her breeding pretty well. The sire of this litter is not known to us but we know many dogs in his pedigree. See link below
