Bloody hell jimmy driver get off your high horse ! They are nothing to do with me other than the Shepard that works on our estate had this problem and I said I would see if any one was Interested,is there anything wrong with earning a bit extra to top your wages up ? Do you put any less time in to a litter of cross breed dogs than pedigree dogs ? I don't think so ! It's just pedigree snobbery ! I haven't got any crossbreed dogs myself but I don't disregard them as waste of spaces as you seem to . I have read on this very site the excellent working abilities of some of those very dogs .
!! To say its offensive get a life ! Tell that to the thousands of sprocker owners that pay £500 plus .
You have obviously never made a mistake in your life have you !
Some of you folk need to have a reality check , in some breeds the bloody so called pedigree standard has become the ruin of the breed ! Clumbers to name one !

Now, that did make me laugh.
Personally I have had pedigree dogs, but couldn't care less if it was pink with yellow polka dots. I want a dog to perform the task I want it to.

He'd probably try and steal the milk from your corn flakes too.

Don't want to cause any trouble but I am about to get a new gwp for stalking to take over from my lab so have starting reading up again on deer dogs and came across this on the first page of the green training dogs for woodland deer stalking by guy Wallace . This by the way for many years was the only real bit of literature on training deer dogs . "Any breed or crossbreed of dog with the following attributes is likely to make a suitable deer dog "
1 a good nose
2the ability to remain at heel or sitting for long periods
3 trainability
well I reckon these teckel x collies would have all of those ! But what does guy Wallace know ! Should have had these pups terminated according to the pedigree snobs on here !
Before you ask why I am not getting one I had already put my name down with a breeder for a gwp and didn't want to let him down !

dont discount the ingenuity of Collies....my Dad's first was a newfoundland collie cross. Think huuuuuge collie..Newfie size with Collie teeth and brains...damn that was some dog
