Terrier shows.

Morning all, Does anyone know of any terrier shows this year within fifty or so miles of Colchester, will go further if a big ‘un. Thanks.

Is Frampton still going .Won a few firsts there myself with the blacks over the years .
Remember one year was judged by a women of slight build .Came to my turn and she asked was the dog safe to touch Of course says I and as the judging went on I asked if she’d done much digging to which she replied no I’m from the kennel club .I think 50 % of the entrants walked away that day
Len French was my favourite judge ,always a joke to be had ,especially when he asked to use a dog of mine over a bitch of his but never spotted my dog had been done Good times at the shows all over the country .Out of it now but still talk to some of the names .

The trouble is now you darent show a well worked dog anymore you end up being judged more than the dog

Too true mate .Not that it was ever about the most battered dog but scars are par for the job .

Always made me wonder why some folk took some of them to shows the state some where judged a few shows from time to time and it genuinely was shocking that folk thought it acceptable to parade dogs about like that publicly
