WOWEEE !!! I've just about come down off of cloud nine and am now capable of reasonable behaviour.
Yesterday afternoon I got the results of my previous weeks blood test and CT scan.
Yippee, I am now officially clear of the dreaded Big C !
The oncologist actually said that I was 'Normal' so initially I was a bit worried because I didn't know what scale of normal she was measuring me by, my normal or somebody else's
😉

I will still be under observation for a few years with, initially six monthly checks and eventually 12 monthly checks just to make sure the little bugger isn't hiding somewhere waiting to pounce and catch me unawares
😉

I still feel weak and drawn and have a bit of PT ahead of me to bring me back to 'Normal' physically but I am sure I will manage it.
Roll on November and, hopefully, all this virus palaver will have been cleared and I can get a trip to Croatia.
I am convinced it was all the well wishes from so many friends and friends of friends that helped me keep my spirits up and I am convinced that it was my positive outlook that helped tremendously.
Thank you, one and all.

EmcC, I'm so pleased that you are on the road to recovery, when my beautiful father was poorly I would say to him " dad, take my hand squeeze it and it will give you all the strength you need". May I truly and sincerely, and as a stranger to you, offer the same hand, it worked for my father, and, IT.... will work for you !, now squeeze!!
