As a 6.5 creed owner I am hoping that a new cartridge comes along sooner rather than later to take the heat of us
I’d pinned my hopes on 6.5prc becoming the butt of the joke, perhaps 22 or 25 creedmoor will fill the void
To clarify i only go out with my 308,
I just try on my 6.5cm around the house

The problem is its not a creedmoor , its a 3000+ ftlb deer slaying machine .
Even the grumpy old .270 owners had no choice but to sit up and take notice
But don't worry one day it will pass and all the doubters will see the 6.5 creedmoor for the cracking calibre it is .

I had a 6.5 creedmoor up until few yrs ago , I've moved on going onto a 7mm RM and now a 6.5 PRC . but i still cant see why the 6.5 creedmoor gets such a hard time?
When i was shooting PRS the winning rifles where 85/90% creedmoor
Maybe its just the stalking luddites feel they need to take the **** because nobody wants to talk about there old .270

its days are slowly coming to an end where it will be laid to rest in between the .220 swift and and 25-06 even lapua cant be assed to make brass for it anymore . Im not a hater of the calibre but if we can take the pi55 out of one , we can take the pi55 out of the other

Main thing that I can’t decide about the 6.5’s is the trajectory. But I started with a .270 and I think it made me a bit lazy.
Still using 6.5x55 and they do have their merits. Accurate and mild recoil
