The New Ford Capri

Forget about that, it is horrible.

Nice one here...

A lot of cash though and a bit before my time, this is more a bit of me :)

The Ford canteen in Cologne back around 1990 had the original aluminium body draft of the Capri (designed in Cologne) hung on the wall as decoration, this was pre CAD where the scratchings onto this mat white painted "aluminium plate" 5M long x 1.5M wide where all the views the side, front, plan & rear were all superimposed onto it. What is that worth to a collector nowadays?

Alan’s place is not far from me , been in for a drool many a time. Most of his stock is South African and he finds some stunning stuff

I have been following Car Cave for ages as the vast majority of his stock appeals to me, I like his descriptions too, always sounded honest.

Then he popped up on a TV show I was watching a couple of nights ago, just seems a decent bloke.

they have spelt it wrong, it’s called the ford Crapy . I always had fords when I was younger mk1&mk2 escorts, road and tarmac rally cars but the first car I ever crashed was a mk1capri , hated the bloody thing. Escorts have to be driven side ways but capris were to tail happy. 😀👍🏻. Happy days

What a shame, this bears no resemblance to a Ford Capri from the 70/80s. All new car designs seem to look the same. The old Capri was a real classic, fortunately there are still some on the road!

Horrible. It looks like a Focus, but two feet shorter. I had three Capri's in my time, two were V6's. They went great, but they also looked great. That thing does not.

I hurt my back in the back of a Ford Capri once, and hurt it again the following Saturday too.🤓 Thinking back just remembering the different cars I've hurt my back in. Happy ( days) nights😁👍
