I had arranged a liaison with a very senior officer's gorgeous daughter in the late 80's in Germany and was planning to impress her with my rather cool Alfa Spider, which broke down. The only car I was able to borrow was Capri with a sticker in the back window saying "I'm the one your mother warned you about". Her Mother looked very unimpressed as I collected her....daughter clearly didn't care....
