Mora, cheap, no tears if lost.
Sure there are 'better' knives but they usually live in draws or have more pictures taken of them than an Instagram model.
The perfect knife is a sharp one!Hi all, I’ve been using a fallkniven f1 knife which I really like. The blade shape and thickness is great and I love the convex grind but it’s a little long. Anyone using something similar but with a shorter blade?
The blade on the Linder ATS34 Super Edge 1 is a little shorter. I like and use it a lot. Great knife with a rubberized handle.Hi all, I’ve been using a fallkniven f1 knife which I really like. Are you sure you don’t mean F2?All quite nice looking knives but they’re all drop points. The f1 is more of a filleting knife, hence the length, I suppose. It’s a little thicker and stiffer than the usual filleter though. Perfect for red deer but I’d like a shorter one for the roe. I might just make one.
I would rather have one that’s £10 than one that’s £150 if it’s the right shape and stays sharp!

F1 is definitely not a filleting knife!
I’d say the F1 is close to being the perfect all round stalking knife. I’ve used it on roe, sika, red and fallow (and trout and rabbit) and find it difficult to fault.
This to me is ideal (Fallkniven PHK with black rubber handle), as Sciandally has pointed out. I do however find the standard 4 inch blade a little wanting in some situations so the extra inch on the PHK makes sense. For a shorter blade I like the Enzo Trapper 95 (wood handle on mine) which is great if just dealing with Roe
