The uninformed are back

Theres an election in two years. The tories face a wipeout. Hes probably just trying to save his job as he no talent to do anything else, and will probably defect if he thinks its in his personal interest.

Hopefully Coffey stands firm.

The misinformation, bad science and downright lies which have been fed to MPs and which they have in many cases taken at face value is truly depressing.
Your heart goes out to the SADC conservation bodies who are being told how to manage their wildlife by the "white saviours".

And who can wonder why? When a complete ****wit like this thinks the most important issue facing the nation and the top priority for UK taxpayers’ money is a piece of left-wing extremism. FFS How stupid does a Tory MP need to be not to realise he’s got it completely wrong if he’s pushing a policy by appealing to left-wing tabloid readers to make his argument for him?
Meanwhile, he is not solving the self-inflicted economic crisis, he is not doing anything to unburden citizens and businesses of excessive tax and regulation, nothing to solve the energy crisis, the defence crisis, immigration crisis, cretins in Westminster crisis.
What a ****!

Just been chatting with a good friend also from Southern Africa. We understand the Z factor when running or doing anything. The Italians have a pretty goid economy despite changing government every few months.

We here in the UK haven’t yet learned how to deal with these idiots and the media. Government and the economy heading straight for slurry pit with us all in the cart together. Instead get a junior MP to get on the band wagon about poor fluffy lion king bollox and gets front page of the Mirror to cover it in all its glory.

Much more important than no trains running, strikes everywhere, folks unable to pay the rent etc.

Some us remember the 1970’s. I was still in short trousers and it was desperate, and yet speaking with the older generation we are not there yet.

Some of is remember Serbia / Kpsovo nastiness. Looks like that is no starting to rumble. And Ukraine not going anywhere.

And yet our government sticks its head in the sand and only focuses on the unimportant crap.

Too true.

Politicians the most uneducated bunch of half wits when it comes to anything except saving their own sorry arses. I wouldnt pee on any of them if they were on fire.
Agreed, Bob Seely who allegedly represents the Isle of Wight is probably the worst MP that we have had in living memory

The news article (if you can call it that) as ever is in fact just straight propaganda from the antis. They all have the same format and the same structure. All written by the same person and just pushed through different papers. All the antis are doing is paying the press to run this crap

Back in the day it was officially the British Museum (Natural History). Everybody in the trade called it "the B.M.". Once you pass out of the public zone there is an endless world that you can get lost in. An old fashioned but wonderful place.
There is a fascinating description of the post-war years and the remarkable people who worked there in Richard Fortey's book (Dry Store Room No.1".

British museums are a joke these days. Its all about eradicating past history. The BM Natural History is a prime example. I have visited and been in their stores. The public would be shocked at how the collection has been treated over the years. Many of the mounted examples of big game are completely damaged beyond repair. This includes Selous collection.
Natural History collections get the lowest priority in British Museums.

You make a good point but if you stand up for the rights of a gun owner/user in this country you get treated worse than a pedo and you get a kick to the nuts. Your right about the organisations that purport to support our interests. What do we do eh 🤬
