Thermal scope

Pulsar Thermion2 XP50, is what I use, could not be happier with the scope. It is well built and works perfectly.
I do not have the LRF version yet, looking into that now, but the one I have I love and use on average 4 nights a week and it has never let me down. I have not tried other brands apart from at the shows in doors which tells you nothing.
Welcome to come and try it out one evening/night if you want to make the drive, they all are a big investment.
I have zero affiliation to Pulsar except the fact I like their products.

Money is not to much of a object , but like most if I can spend £100 instead of £200 on something which will do virtually the same job then it needs to be looked at
I’m open to suggestions and guidance from the ones who have first hand experience in this subject , as I know very little about thermal scopes 👍🏻
So how much do you want to spend on one ? Then you can get advice on what is best for the money..

@Lone wolf have you done a review on YouTube of the oneleaf?
if so stick it on here as a link, please.
atb bd.

Hi Mate, I've not done a review as such but I have put it to work on my HMR and my .223, in what I would call real world scenarios in varying conditions.

Here is some links, the first is on my .223 where I'm out shooting rabbits and had s chance encounter with a fox, and on this one I shoot some rabbits out to 200yrds

And this one is from it being on my HMR

For transparency I am not saying it is better than the Nocpix H50R because I couldn't say, I have never looked through one, all I am trying to say it that the MT1000LRF offers a lot of scope for not a lot of money and it covers my needs from ratting upto foxing with some longer range rabbiting if needed

For someone who had a budget of £1500 they can get both the 35mm and 50mm lenses, there is also a 75mm lense out now.

Regards Gareth

Gareth if your local, you can test some kit and share it online if you want...drop me a message.

@Lone wolf .
Thanks for adding the links to the Oneleaf.
It isn't easy to compare unless side by side.
A pal sends me a few clips from his Nocpix H50 and they are superb. He regularly shoots foxes at night to 300+ yards with it, the image is brilliant, but the cost of a unit like that is unjustifiable to me.

In terms of a 384px

The Stellar SQ50L 3.0 is decent as it has a high 6.0x base mag and a 2560px display along with LRF and ballistics. (£2399)

Jumping upto 640px

Stellar SQ50L 3.0

NocPix Ace H50R

Oryx-L 650

These will cost you more than £3k even if you get discount on them, so you would need to stretch the budget a little bit more.

Sticking firmly under £3K and sticking with 640 resolution

Ace H50 standard model

Ares 2.0 650L

I have the ARES 650L and wouldnt recommend it as its too low base mag the only thermtec scopes worth buying are the 360 and 660 as you can get those under £1600

I'd say pulsar talion but it lacks the lrf. if you have it on one handheld within 200 mt the Talion will gave you a great service without too many frills & hassles. And it works for hours with the swappable battery. it is e proorietary model but they seems lasting forever and clones are jet out. as for the rest...is pulsar
