Thermtec Ares 660L Objective Lens

I have recently bought a Thermtec ares 660L and when I move the ring on the objective it won’t switch between the 60mm and 20mm and is just staying stuck on the 60mm lens, just wondering if anyone has had this problem before and what it could be? I have another one which is working completely fine when I switch between the two lenses so I’m not sure what it could be really?
