How do you remove this, tried several times with string & cut round tail root, ended up pulling tail completely off.

Cut the skin all around the tail, get a stick and bend it in the middle and use this as a grip.. Pull upwards and off it comes..not always easy but it does work.

I make these. No particular purpose. Although if you go on Etsy, there's people out there who, instead of a cartridge will put an anal plug in..

many years ago we used to put them in feed bags with a hole in the bottom and hang them up around the pens so the maggots fell out to feed the birds,"circle of life "

Used to lamp with a friend who originated from Vietnam so you can guess what he did with his 's. The chap runs a chinese restaurant in a nearby village as he didn't think a Vietnamese restaurant would have been popular when he opened in the 90's. A certain farmer East of Edinburgh sent some fox hams to a local smoke house. A local wildlife group asked to visit his farm as it does have some really lovely corners and wildlife. And he provided a lunch of various smoked meats - one of which they all raved about. He only said that it was locally shot and produced

Back in the late 1980`s we had a group of Dutch shooters who came over to Scotland.They all wore fox skin hats with tails that looked like the old Davy Crockett type.As it was illegal to shoot foxes in the Netherlands at that time(according to them)they imported treated skins from Russia and had them made at home.Always remember how warm they looked on a right cold snowy day.
