Three favourite guitar riffs..

I went to see The Who in Peel about 14 years ago and they were supported by a band called “Back Door Slam”....have a listen, their guitarist/lead singer Davy Knowles is incredible...I can’t believe they’ve never made it bigger than they have!

1. Slash (Guns & Roses) - Sweet Child of Mine. Saw him live at Glasgow with Myles Kennedy - bucket list stuff 😀

2. Accept- Metal Heart. Go straight to chorus riff 3 min in.... Classical vs hard rock - amazing.

3. Leo Moracchioli - Sultans of Swing (metal cover) ft Mary Spender. Look this guy up on YouTube if you like metal - arguably not everyone’s cup of tea but hugely talented musician👍

Just a few off the top of my head of bands I’ve seen live and loved.

I met Brian Johnson when he went to a gig to see my older brother, he is an absolute gent, spent the evening with him, a very intelligent and interesting man, and.. my younger brother took Brian's place in the band Geordie when Brian joined AC/DC, sorry about the name dropping.....not sorry
