Hello, has anyone any ideas ,I have been trying to remove the blanking screws (So I can fit a Pic rail )from my Tikka T3 Lite Stainless 243. I have got one out but the other 3 are just spinning won’t come out?Ideas please?

Which one have you got out?

All except the front one can be screwed IN if they spin coming out - screw them in & they’ll simply drop through into the action where you can get them out.

The front one will be the pain if it’s spinning as this is a blind hole in effect as the barrel tenon screws in underneath the hole.

If it is the front one try putting a drop ova glue on it, work it into the thread using a cocktail stick & leave it to go hard. Then try unscrewing the screw again with very little downwards pressure.

Failing that drill the bugger out carefully!

As others have noted, they are not metal, just plastic plugs which appear to be either screwed in during assembly or simply tapped in. When this happened to my rifle(s) I heated up a very fine jewellers slotted tip driver and pushed it into the plug, waited a few seconds for it to set then unscrewed it with a small amount of reverse pressure.
