Got a t1x in 22lr and although it's an accurate little rifle I think the stock let's it down some what, just wondered if anyone has upgraded the stock and what would you guys recommend.

Any T3 or T3x stock will fit your T1x. I put a T3x walnut hunter stock on mine and very pleased with it.

I would suggest that you need to get your hands on a Bell & Carlson Medalist. Try Prophet River Firearms in Canada.

Would a T3X Supervarmint stock look silly on a T1X? Thinking of the barrel channel.
I think it is a great stock for the T1x. Yes there will be a bit more barrel gap but the T1x is what is referred to as a semi varmint barrel anyway and I think it looks fine. You can be sure it's properly free floated. There are plenty on here who will have this set up and can give their thoughts and experience.

I tried my T1X in a GRS Berserk stock and it looked absolutely stupid
I could have lain down and had a sleep in the channel between the stock and the barrel :)

Cheers

I've got two T3 Varmint stocks and two T3X supervarmint stocks, having replaced them with various Boyds products. Thinking of asking for a second 22rf with this renewal. Might just try to find a second-hand BRNO model 2 instead of a new rifle!

I've just sold a GRS bifrost that I had on my T1X for about a year. Agree the amount of space around the barrel was a bit of an eye sore. What did it for me though was I really felt the extra weight from a nights rabbiting. Especially if I had to take any off hand shots.

A sporter barrel can work nicely in a varmint stock, I suppose it's all down to individual taste. This is my sons CZ452 WMR sporter in a varmint stock. It was a great set up. He has since sold the rifle, but kept the stock🤣

Thanks for the replies, I like the look of the boyds At-one and the KRG bravo so will look at those.
ref the KRG Bravo I strongly recommend you try before you buy. I'm a glove size 8 and found the pistol grip too bulky. It just wasn't comfortable or a natural grip.
