Tikka t3 open sights

Hi all does anyone know where I can get a set of open sights for a tikka t3, I was looking at the sights on the t3x arctic and quite fancy some. Any help would as to where to look for some would be a big help. Thanks

Even if you managed to get a rear sight, it is the front sight which is the problem.

Either you have something semi-permanently threaded on meaning you can no longer use a moderator or you will have to have a notch cut into the muzzle thread, which is not a great solution.

The Ruger Gunsite Scout did something similar.

Photographs seem to show that the fore sight on the T3x arctic simply clamps to the barrel so it shouldn't be too hard to fit. Unlike other open sights that Tikka have fitted in the past that came from the Williams gunsight company these look like they are unique to Tikka in which case they could only be sourced from Tikka via GMK.

Any particular reason why you want open sights? Are you planning on shooting driven Euro style? If so, I’d really look at a red dot sight. I think you’ll be onto the realms of trying to get something adapted or smith’d If you really want open sights that aren’t designed to fit. I am not saying it’s impossible, just likely a ‘make it work’ solution if DIY or expensive if done professionally. Either way, good luck with it and let us all know how you get on.

Thanks for the help. I have always liked shooting open sights, seen the sights on the arctic and thought I may be able to get some information on those or something similar to fit to my rifle
