My part of the world got it pretty bad last night - this is (normally) “The Esplanade” - a Victorian pedestrian walkway along the shore but the combination of a full moon, high tide and an onshore storm changed all that. The building on the left (Local supporters club) has sustained major flood and structural damage and to the right (unseen) is a pretty little cafe which I really do hope has survived relatively intact. Based on previous occasions there will be many tons of sand and pebbles to be shifted…
