Today at work I.....

i was a tower crane erector in the late 80's early 90's before moving on to being a mobile crane service engineer those were the best days and in fact i am off to see my old erector buddies at the beginning of april , we still meet up regular although sadly lost a legend recently so only three now well 4 if you count malc but he's in oz now

no it was ian johnson , very sad day he was such a gentleman

i was with liebherr at canary wharf we had six 500hcl cranes on two tower and we were climbing three then lifting the climbing frame over to the other building where we climbed those three and tied them in to the building then straight back to the other building as it had caught up 100+ hours and 7 day weeks , great money earner !
 
Don't you hate that "tink"....ahhhh ****. I'll do it differently next time.
You've got while you're removing it to think about how much better a little less pressure on the handles would have been.
