Anyone else use their oven to melt wax into their leather boots

I used ours to wax some cotton trousers a couple of years ago. Worked well and made them basically 'wipe clean'.

Put mine near the smouldering stove overnight.

Heat gun for me, the other half wouldnt be too happy on finding bits of wax on her next roast chicken
