Sorry, no, I can't & won't admit to that.

I really enjoyed watching 101 Dalmatians with them though (the Glen Close version) & also Witches.

lol... I've managed to avoid Frozen so far, by some miracle. I'm a huge fan of Monsters Inc, Toy Story, Up, The Incredibles, in fact most of the modern cartoon generation, as there's so much clever stuff in them for the adult audience.

"I do not like the cone of shame..."

I wonder how many dads on here secretly quite like Frozen...

...come on lads, let it go...

Mrs PM works for the House of Mouse so last year, we were awash with Frozen stuff. But I just didn't like it much and YPM's too young. It was visually very appealling, all those ice shapes, but the story was just simplistic and I didn't care about the characters much at all. That said, I didn't like Avatar either, same reasons. Looked great, trite story, one-dimensional characters. However I saw Maleficent with Angelina Jolie from the same stable, and that was a tremendous film.

I will whole heartedly agree that Frozen was abysmal - very poor plot, no decent jokes and very flat characters. Not a patch on things like Aladdin. Really don't understand why it was such a success - of the recent ones, Tangled was far superior.

Avatar was agony - I gave up about 2/3 of the way through.

If you liked the Wicker Man:

I thought Avatar was appalling too... basically Ferngully (which was far superior) with special effects.

Which reminds me, did anyone see/like the Aaahh!!! Real Monsters series of the late 90's... with Ickis and Oblina? Did you feel that Monsters Inc basically ripped it off?
