Trail camera parts

Afternoon all,

Trail cam was dropped the other day and the 2 latches that lock it have broken.

Has anyone managed to find a supplier of spares?

I have searched for various different names of lock, cam and fastener and cant get what im after.

Just a 2 piece locking mechanism that has a pin drifted into the 'fixed' end, other end then clips a lip on the lid when its closed.... make sense? There may even be a photo attached, if all has gone well!

Cheers

Looks like you have unfortunately broken the moulded plastic so looks unlikely to be repaired unless you can get a replacement housing.

How about cable ties as a quick fix?

The part that is broken is removable, just held on with a pin (see picture), just the final bit of it that has snapped. Sure it is a fairly commonly used catch that I imagine costs a quid, if that! I have some large snoopy loops that hold the case shut; I just hate having a bit of kit that is broken - it was a gift from a client and is only used in the yard, so wont see a hard life.

Thanks for the response.

Thanks for the response - I have emailed (should have mentioned that in my 1st post) them but no reply, yet. Sure the current situation will effect their staffing/email response. I'm just trying other options as I have a bit of free time to look into things!

Cheers
