Will only be using .22/250 or .243Hi Nickb, Yes your windscreen can crack. A mate of mine fired a 45-70 across the bonnet of the car. He was angled away from the screen with the barrel, and a foot and a half from it, but it still cracked all the way across.
Shooting the semi-auto from the parked car was never good. The amount of brass that went down my vents after hitting the windscreen....

An old farmer once drove me around in his Merc 4x4 shooting rabbits out of the window. I shot 70 plus , the spent .22 cases were all over his vehicle. The police paid him a visit after the local garage reported it , he had to explain the scenario![]()

Just remember to put it back down before entering the M4/5/25 ETC.Add a rooftop tent so you can keep dry and warm.
