He suggested I didn't accept the result of the referendum.

You're pardoned for expecting an impossible answer to a stupid question. There is no possible factual answer to any such question about the future. It can't be "based in fact" before the facts have happened.
There are, however, multiple studies explaining how the potential for us to be better off exists. You may remember that nobody coherently campaigned for the UK to remain in an unreformed EU. You're uncritically accepting the opinions of a collection of people who thought joining the euro was a good idea ex ante. Need anyone say more?

OK despite tis deceased equine receiving a good thrashing it is going nowhere, the only things flying on this thread are the insults. I do not intend to supervise this playground squabble any longer, I have better things to do with my time.

It seems to have escaped the attention of a lot of people that the UK voted to leave the EU, a democratic process bought this about and pointless arguments about buses etc. will not change it. Donald Trump won the presidential election in America, again the result of a democratic process, lets move on.
