Think there’s an algorithm that prevents someone posting anything for sale until they’ve posted 30 times and been a member for 30 days (I think both are true - look at the selling rules)..
The former looks like it applies to you.

Should be a portal page where the site guidelines have to be read and acknowledged before passing into the site proper, Bit Orwellian perhaps, but it would weed out these posts.

It's on at least 3, maybe 4, different notices displayed while registering. Some people just don't read.
