tumbling bullets

We got a match grade fluted border barrel as a replacement, from the man we bought it from, as he said he dont sell rifles that dont shoot! the importers said as it was sold by them several years ago and proofed ,although never used , so still in all respects a new rifle they will not honour a warranty,so this barrel is getting milled in half and put on display to show the very slight but effective flair in the barrel. much to the importers dissaproval . they could avoid this by paying for the custom barrel!!!.I somehow think the americans wont pay !!!

Please post the pictures of the barrel section when you have it, together with the importer's details if you wish.atb Tim

The response from the importers and the fact that it's american makes me wonder if the improters are not in fact our own wonderful Edgar Bros. The reason I say that is the tale of the Remingtons in .223 that a local shop got in that refused to group within 3" at 60 paces. The shop finally sold the customer a Tikka or sako at a loss to keep them happy the importers were less than helpful.

hi back again, not a BLASER OR SAUER, nor Edgar brothers, sorry, so here is one for you!!! we got it back with a lovely looking fluted match grade barrell and bugger me it only still did it. They now refuse to spend any more money on it and offered a refund on the rifle but not the scope and mod??? I would have thought they would have wanted to know why it was happening, the only similarities were , the same action, both barrells threaded at the same place, the ammo from the same box,.
We now have a new rifle different make with hopefully a test target to come with it lol
This makes the bulge and oversized barrell, reasons a bit odd as it has happened twice.

Tis simple ................................................... lack of quality control and cutting corners in production. Result crap product.

How can one have a "Mach Grade" barrel that HAS obviously not been inspected and test fired?

Just shows that the title "Match grade" is not through inspection and testing rather just a label to add more to the customers bill..

yes agree, and i spoke to the barrell makers ,who would love to get their hands on it , and would soon tell if it is actually from them, but its not that simple as riflesmith has it.
more crap has happened so I can see naming this company, might just have to happen, as it would be a shame to read about someone else getting the same service as us!!
We just have to see if this si the end as the new rifle replacement arrives tomorrow

I think I will stick to my Sako's. They are ALL test fired by a human being at the factory and will not leave the factory unless they group sub MOA at 100m.

I've never had a bad one and I've had a few.....still prefer the 75 to anything else on the market.
